Here’s an update to my travels.

We left N Collins, NY Sunday Oct 30th & drove to our daughter Rachel’s house outside Columbus, Ohio for a visit.  We stayed until Tuesday & were there for trick or treat night.  That was cute.

Also, Dad made his famous ribs & we invited cousins  Paula & Jay for dinner.  They loved the ribs, as everyone does, & we had a good time as usual.

We left Tuesday morning & arrived in Port Richey , Fl on the night of Nov 2nd.  Of course, we had to break down.  We spent 4 1/2 hrs in Savannaha, Ga.  The tires on the trailer needed changing since the treads were wearing down & then we had to find a repair shop who would take us immediately, and we did.  The cost to replace serpentine belt & fan belt was approx $310.00.  This is after we spent $400 before leaving N Collins, using 2  different mechanics who checked out the safety of the truck.

When we got home we found the brakes were leaking, transmission leaking & engine leaking.  Both the trailer & truck will be put to sleep.  We’re not sure what we will do for another truck at this time.

Now we’re back in sunny, warm Fl taking our time unpacking, re-organizing & shopping.  Looking forward to fishing & the beach!
