COUNTRY WHITE BREAD

2 packages of dry yeast

2 cups warm water (110 -115 degrees)

1/2 c sugar

2 tsp salt

2 large eggs

1/4 c oil

6 1/2 – 7 cups of flour

In a large bowl dissolve yeast in warm water

Add sugar, salt, eggs, oil & 3 cups of flour

Beat on medium speed until smooth then add the remaining flour to form a soft dough

Take out of machine & on a floured surface knead until smooth & elastic about 6-8 minutes

Place in a greased bowl & cover & let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour

Punch down dough & divide into 2 loaves, put in 2 9 x 5 loaf pans, cover & let rise about 1 hour

Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for about 1 hour or until golden brown
