30 MINUTE DINNER ROLLS

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

1 c warm tap water

1/3 c oil

1/4 c sugar

2 T yeast

1/2 t salt

1 beaten egg

1 T softened butter

3-4 c flour

1/8 c room temp milk (for brushing tops of rolled balls)

DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl combine 1 c water, oil, sugar & yeast, until bubbly

Stir in softened butter & salt

With a stand mixer or by hand add flour 1 cup at a time until you have a soft dough that isn’t sticky

Knead by hand for 10 min or 5 min with stand mixer

Divide dough into 18 even pieces & form into balls

Place in pan with greased parchment paper

Spray dough balls with cooking spray, put a piece of parchment paper on top & then cover all with a kitchen towel

Let rise in a  warm place for 10-30 minutes, the longer the better

Bake about 10-15 min or until browned
