What a wonderful 4 days with my children-Rachel, John, Maribeth & nephew Angelo & celebrated John’s 33rd birthday.   Chuck & Alyssa couldn’t make it at the last minute.  We did a lot of eating, laughing, boating & fishing.  Tried to cook the turkey on the rotisserie but motor was broken so we had to bring everything over to the rental house & cooked traditionally in the oven.  I made my fig cookies, Hello Dollies, & too sweet chocolate pecan from Cracker Barrel.  They just left & I’m going through withdrawal!

Always miss them, wish they could spend more time with us.  Maybe next year….
